The world comes to Burgundy School of Business

30 international professors from the prestigious partner universities of Burgundy School of Business are in Dijon from January to March to teach in BSB's High Flyer modules. For the third consecutive year, these exceptional English courses offer students the unique opportunity to attend classes given by the best in their respective fields of expertise.

The international professors teach forty some classes at Burgundy School of Business to all of the 2nd year Master in Management students (MGE). Many of them come from famous universities such as Harvard Faculty of Arts and Sciences, University of North Texas, La Salle University School of Business (US), Lomonosov Moscow State University Business School (Russia), Notthingham Trent University (UK), University of Stellenbosch Business School (South Africa) and Hong Kong Polytechnic University.

There are also newcomers to the programme this year: Cornell University (US), Fu Jen Catholic University College of Management (Taiwan), IMT - Institute of Management Technology in Ghaziabad (India), ZHAW School of Management & Law in Zurich and l’École Hôtelière in Lausanne (Switzerland).

Internationalisation on both sides of the classroom

The twenty-hour modules are taught in English to both French and international students. This year was the first time that foreign students will come especially to attend the courses, as is the case of some fifteen students from EWHA Womans University College of Business (South Korea).

The programme's goal is to give all students the best in management teaching and to offer them an exceptional, unique and unforgettable learning experience. The High Flyer modules are also the opportunity to broaden the scope of individual degrees. Marketing majors, for example, can either study specific domains within their field or, those in others they have not explored before.

Class themes thus vary from the classic, "Leadership, Strategy and Decision Making",  "Cross Cultural Communication Competences in Marketing and Sales", to more original, "The Business of Crime, an Analytical Perspective", to very specific, "Contemporary Issues in U.S. Food and Beverage Markets", "Business Development in India".
