金融学专业

金融学专业都是每个学校的王牌专业，因为一般在金融领域就业的学生工资最高，也最能帮助学校冲击排名。有一点需要注意，申请金融学硕士都需要学生有相关的学术背景（管理学、金融学、财务管理、会计、很多学校也会接受理工科背景的学生比如说数学、物理、计算机等），即使学生有一定的工作经验而没有学术背景的话也很难申请。金融学对学生的数学能力要求较高，所以同学在准备申请的时候最好对自己有一个评估。此外，格勒诺布尔商学院的金融学硕士项目需要学生提供GMAT（学生如果有比较优秀的其他情况可以向学生申请免GMAT）。

金融学专业的课程设置一般分为2大类：

如何区分 Corporate Finance 和 Financial Markets

The Corporate Finance: Designed for those who want to pursue a career in mergers & acquisitions, financial analysis, firm valuation, transaction services, structured financing, private equity and equity (ECM) and debt (DCM) capital markets.
The Financial Markets: Designed for those who want to pursue a career in front and middle offices such as sales and structuring of financial products, traders, quantitative finance, risk management as well as asset and portfolio management.

Corporate Finance

Corporate finance is the area of finance dealing with the sources of funding and the capital structure of corporations and the actions that managers take to increase the value of the firm to the shareholders, as well as the tools and analysis used to allocate financial resources. The primary goal of corporate finance is to maximize or increase shareholder value. The terms corporate finance and corporate financier are also associated with investment banking. The typical role of an investment bank is to evaluate the company's financial needs and raise the appropriate type of capital that best fits those needs. Thus, the terms "corporate finance" and "corporate financier" may be associated with transactions in which capital is raised in order to create, develop, grow or acquire businesses. Recent legal and regulatory developments in the U.S. will likely alter the makeup of the group of arrangers and financiers willing to arrange and provide financing for certain highly leveraged transactions. Financial management overlaps with the financial function of the Accounting profession. However, financial accounting is the reporting of historical financial information, while financial management is concerned with the allocation of capital resources to increase a firm's value to the shareholders.

Financial Market

A financial market is a market in which people trade financial securities, commodities, and other fungible items of value at low transaction costs and at prices that reflect supply and demand. Securities include stocks and bonds, and commodities include precious metals or agricultural products.

Capital markets which to consist of:
- Stock markets, which provide financing through the issuance of shares or common stock, and enable the subsequent trading thereof.
- Bond markets, which provide financing through the issuance of bonds, and enable the subsequent trading thereof.
Commodity markets, which facilitate the trading of commodities.
Money markets, which provide short term debt financing and investment.
Derivatives markets, which provide instruments for the management of financial risk.
Futures markets, which provide standardized forward contracts for trading products at some future date.
Foreign exchange markets, which facilitate the trading of foreign exchange.

Generalist 类金融学硕士项目

要求：211/985大学本科，GMAT 700+，雅思

HEC商学院的国际金融课程是一个尖端而且要求也非常高的项目。项目有2个方向，BuinessTrack针对有金融学相关背景的学生，Accelerated Track针对理工科，经济学等有一定数学基础的学生。

HEC: MSc. Managerial & Financial Economics | 巴黎 | 25,900欧元项目链接
要求：211/985大学本科，GMAT 700+，雅思

HEC商学院的这个项目虽然是叫经济学，但是课程设置有很大一部分是和金融学相关的，而且很多投行招聘也是非常喜欢经济学专业的学生，所以这个项目也被我归类到金融学的范畴里面。

ESCP: Advanced Master in Finance | 巴黎，伦敦 | 21,100欧元项目链接
3个方向：Corporate Finance, Financial Markets, Asset Managment
要求：211/985大学本科，GMAT 680左右，法语+英语

ESCP的一年制金融硕士项目现在巴黎，后在伦敦授课，在巴黎授课是用法语，所以这里就不详细介绍了。

EDHEC: MSc. Finance | 尼斯 | 21,500欧元项目链接
要求：GMAT，IELTS

EDHEC北方高商的金融学教学是学校的专长，所以她的金融学硕士项目分的很细致，其中一个偏向于Coporate Finance，一个偏向于Financial Markets还有一个是Generialist的项目。

EM Grenoble: MSc. Finance | 格勒诺布尔，伦敦，新加坡 | 23,300欧元项目链接
要求：GMAT（工作或是学习特别优秀的学生可以申请免GMAT）， IELTS 6.5 小分>6.0

格勒诺布尔商学院的金融学硕士项目是一个“Generalist”金融学方向的硕士项目，学生可以学到 Corporate Finance 和 Financial Market 两个大方面的课程。项目的老师很多来自于知名的大企业比如说HSBC和PwC等。此外，这个项目非常的国际化，20多个国家的学生在一起学期，学生还可以选择在其他校区学习选修课程。

图卢兹商学院的金融学项目是一个非常深入和实践为导向的硕士项目。授课课时为500个小时，其中40%的课程由学校教师授课，20%的课程由访问学者授课，40%的课程由企业管理人士授课。500小时的课程中350个小时为必修课，教授学生关于金融学方面的深入课程，另外150小时为选修模块，学生可以根据自己的兴趣爱好选择自己想学的课程。此外，项目的授课教授很多都毕业于世界知名的大学。
